Sleep and Nervous System Regulation

Supporting more restful, restorative sleep through brain-based training

BCIA-Certified   |   Licensed Professional Counselors   |   In Practice Since 1981

At Austin Biofeedback and EEG Neurofeedback Center, we take an integrative approach to sleep concerns, recognizing that disrupted sleep often reflects underlying patterns of nervous system dysregulation rather than a simple sleep problem. We begin with a thorough clinical intake and a personalized QEEG brain map to understand the specific brainwave patterns that may be contributing to your sleep difficulties. From there, we design a training program that may include neurofeedback, HRV training, and other supporting modalities to help your brain and nervous system build more flexible, regulated patterns associated with relaxation and restorative rest. Because we work with multiple neurofeedback systems and neuromodulation approaches, we can tailor your program to your specific brain and adjust it as you progress.

Why Personalization Matters for Sleep

Sleep challenges are not driven by a single pattern in the brain. For some individuals, difficulty sleeping is related to persistent high-frequency activity that makes it hard to slow down. For others, it may involve instability in sleep-wake regulation or difficulty maintaining consistent patterns over time.

Because of this, effective neurofeedback requires more than a standard approach. It requires understanding how the brain is functioning and adjusting the training accordingly. At the Austin Biofeedback and EEG Neurofeedback Center, our licensed and board-certified therapists have over 100 years of combined experience using integrative approaches to helping support clients with sleep difficulties.

Is Neurofeedback Right For You?

We believe the right care starts with the right conversation. Before any brain map or training plan, we begin with a thorough clinical intake — because understanding you is what makes everything else work.
